Merry Knitmas: Our Christmas Jumper Picks

Friday, November 1, 2019

Welcome to the snuggly season. Knitwear is now the official uniform until spring (if the weather is kind to us), so you better make sure your Christmas jumper collection is on point. Whether you’re into patterned pullovers or timeless pieces, we got you. Invest in some cosy clothes now and stay looking stylish when the temperature really drops.

Trophy Knits

What is the festive season without a statement jumper (or three)? Embrace Christmas with a novelty knit that your granny didn’t make; we’re obsessed with our pink number, which is still perfect to wear through the colder months (you’re welcome). Throw on with jeans, leather leggings or over a floral dress. If slogan jumpers don’t do it for you, go for time-honoured argyle patterns or chic geometric shapes. Cute enough for Christmas plans while still looking street-style-snap ready.

Cosy Classics

If patterned jumpers aren’t your thing, it’s all good, we’re here for you. Get cosy in classic colours like nude, white and black, or stand out in blues and pinks. The roll neck is a winter staple and looks great with jeans, skirts or layered under dresses. Shop chunky knits and fluffy fabrics to really beat the chill, while still looking cute at Christmas. These work perfectly with faux-leather trousers and skirts to add a little extra something to your outfit.

All New Knitwear

Sometimes a jumper just won’t cut it. Mix it up with a dress or a cardigan to stay toasty but still looking good. Team knitted dresses with knee high boots and layer up with a long coat over the top (it’s chilly out there after all!). We can’t get enough of this chunky knit number. And did we mention, cardigans are your new BFF when it comes to winter layers. Throw over t-shirts and roll necks in the daytime, or pair with a cute top (we recommend a cami or bodysuit) in the evening to ensure you stay snug for every winter event. Long-line cardis look great with a belt to cinch them at the waist, plus you can’t beat a cropped version worn as a top for extra style points.
